		<description>We're in exactly the same situation. We have non-Sun/Oracle gear running Solaris and OpenSolaris. Nobody at Oracle is able to tell us if we can renew our Soalris 10 contracts when time comes and purchasing new OpenSolaris contracts for non-Sun/Oracle gear is no longer possible (this options has been discontinued by Oracle).

Deploying OpenSolaris in production without a support contract is out of the question since a valid support contract is the only way to get security patches.

If you choose to deploy OpenSolaris on Dell
gear you'll be without offcial security pacthes between releases - not a nice place to be for a hosting company ?</description>
